New Years Eve reminds us of our relative experience of time. To a child minutes are like hours; to a man hours like minutes; and to those who have lived to see the void of death swallow most of their generation, a lifetime is but a flickering dream.
Cinema is a unique time traveling device that allows us to look into worlds as though they have never decayed in the stream of time. When done well, we can travel through vast architectures of time.
We are a privileged and curse generation to look on such images with clarity.
Happy New Year from Time Out of Joint.
What a great wee reflection to end the year, the moment. Thanks Reno.
